The smaller Panda, called Yi Yi is around 1.7 years old. The parents are on loan from China and this is their second cub at Zoo Negara. The setup at Zoo Negara for the Pandas is very good. The first animal I haven't felt sorry to see in captivity. These guys have human servants, dedicated medical staff, spacious all weather accomodation and air-conditioning - very pampered!
Carrots and Apples are good, but lets not forget bamboo cakes!
