Kuala Lumper - Parade

The Malaysian people do seem to like a parade!  We returned to our accommodation in this food market district to find a parade was in order.  I am not sure what it was about, but it was colourful, loud, eclectic and some parts where down right strange.

There were some disturbing images that I didn't capture - in among this frivolity, there were some chaps who were getting long metal spears impaled through their mouths.  They were walking along with these few meter long pieces of metal through one cheek and out the other.

One guy seem to be about to have it done on the parade and was so nervous he was sitting in his own urine.  Just another day in KL!

Don't think the cows were up for any ritual slaughter!  A strange end to our first full day in KL.
